Greg made a simple add-in to Windows Live Writer that allows you to add your current mood to your blog entry. The list of moods and the URL to where the mood image is located is in the MoodMap.xml file at the following path: c:\program files\windows live writer\plugins.

I’ve installed the plugin, but the mood list is empty. I verified that the MoodMap.xml file was in c:\program files\windows live writer\plugins. I tried adding an extra mood to see if that worked, and it did not help. I tried downloading someone’s big list of moods and replacing the existing xml file with theirs, and that didn’t work. I tried rebooting the computer, that didn’t work. I tried switching between LiveJournal and WordPress within Windows Live Writer, and the list was still empty. Any ideas why the list is empty and how to fix it? Thanks.
